Vikings Sign Quarterback To Practice Squad

On Monday the Vikings announced that the club has signed QB Pat Devlin and TE RaShaun Allen to the practice squad. To make room, QB Chandler Harnish was added to the 'Practice Squad; Injured' list, and TE Ryan Otten was waived from the practice squad.

Devlin signed as an undrafted free agent following the 2011 NFL Draft with the Miami Dolphins, after playing collegiately at the University of Delaware and Penn State. During the 2013 preseason, Devlin completed 47-of-80 of his passes for 504 yards and 2 TDs. His 504 yards led the NFL during the 2013 preseason. He has not appeared in an NFL regular season game.

Allen originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks following the 2014 NFL Draft. Allen played four seasons for Southern after redshirting his freshman year. Allen appeared in one game for Seattle, a 28-26 loss to St. Louis.
