Vikings Put On a Live Light Show at U.S. Bank Stadium for Annual Holiday Card

There was no better place to shoot the 2016 Minnesota Vikings annual holiday card then U.S. Bank Stadium.

The Vikings put on a holiday-themed live light show and produced a video showcasing the lighting and pyro during U.S. Bank Stadium's inaugural season to wish happy holidays to all of the Minnesota Vikings family.

Executive Director of Digital & Innovation Scott Kegley, Director of Entertainment Greg Boston, Director of Broadcasting Skip Krueger, and Director, Brand & Creative Eric Swartz teamed up on the project that was shared on vikings.com, the club's social channels and through the Vikings Rewards program.

The club worked with Don’t Blink, a local video production company that helped bring the idea to life. The company used innovative technology to help produce the visuals.

Paul Guthrie Film and Design created the lighting design, and Slamhammer provided additional stadium lighting. Paul Guthrie Film and Design handles several other prominent lighting jobs locally and internationally, including St. Paul's edition of Red Bull Crashed Ice. RES Pyrotechnics did the pyrotechnics seen in the holiday card.

All three companies worked together with the Vikings for the home-opener halftime show at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sept. 18th against the Green Bay Packers and the Dec. 1st prime-time halftime show against the Dallas Cowboys.
