Vikings Place Munnerlyn and Others on PUP, Sign 2 Free Agent Wide Receivers

On Friday, in advance of the team's first practice at 2014 Verizon Vikings Training Camp, the Vikings announced several roster moves, including placing veteran CB Captain Munnerlyn on the Physically Unable to Perform list.

Also placed on the PUP were TE Chase Ford and S Andrew Sendejo.

These players placed on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list count on the team's active roster. They are not permitted to participate in team or individual drills or practice sessions (contact or non-contact), or preseason games of the club until they pass a physical.

The club inked a pair of free agent wide receivers as well, with both Andy Cruse and Ty Walker signing deals.

Cruse spent the first 10 weeks of the 2013 regular season on the Houston Texans practice squad. He entered the league with Houston as an undrafted free agent out of Miami (Ohio). He was released from the Texans on May 19, 2014.

Walker signs as a free agent after he spent last season on the practice squads of Green Bay and Seattle. Walker went to training camp and appeared in all four games with the Packers during the 2013 preseason. He signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent.

To make room for Cruse and Walker, the Vikings waived T Matt Hall and WR Josh Cooper.
