The first Minnesota Vikings Business Summit, presented by Twin Cities Orthopedics, was held last week at U.S. Bank Stadium.

The event created an opportunity for the Vikings to host corporate partners, suite partners and other organizations, allowing the Vikings to share priority initiatives for 2017 and beyond. Vikings and NFL personnel led multiple sessions of open dialogue and sharing best practices to further strengthen connections with partners and expand networking opportunities.

"I know this is a business summit, but this is a family gathering," Vikings Owner/President Mark Wilf said. "We're excited to host our partners. Thank you for being part of an incredible Vikings family."

Vikings Chief Operating Officer Kevin Warren and Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer Steve LaCroix spoke on the State of the Vikings, recapping a historic 2016 in which U.S. Bank Stadium opened, and previewing the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center, the future headquarters of the Vikings that is scheduled to open in March 2018.

A "Super Panel" that was moderated by Vikings Legend Ahmad Rashad featured LaCroix, TCO CEO Troy Simonson, Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community President & CEO Angela Heikes, Verizon Senior Vice President of Media and Entertainment Brian Angiolet and U.S. Bank Vice Chairman & Chief Administrative Officer Kate Quinn.

Vikings General Manager Rick Spielman spoke about the Vikings moves in free agency and the 2017 draft class, and Head Coach Mike Zimmer tapped a video message that was played for attendees.

After Richard Weylman delivered the keynote address, there were multiple breakout sessions in the afternoon.
