The Vikings held a moment of silence prior to the ribbon cutting ceremony at U.S. Bank Stadium to honor former Head Coach Dennis Green, who passed away on Friday.
Green coached the Vikings for 10 seasons (1992-2001) and reached the playoffs eight times in Minnesota. Throughout his successful career in the NFL, his impact reached far beyond the gridiron.
