Vikings Offensive Coordinator Norv Turner

I think Bob [Hagan] gave you the injury report. The two guys that are questionable - Sharrif [Floyd] and [Chad] Greenway are questionable. Everywhere else I think we are in pretty good shape. I think we had three days of outstanding practices, we've had outstanding energy. Coach [Zimmer] asked these guys to step it up a notch and get ready to go play our best and I think that's what they've done.

*Q: When did you find out you'd be running practice today? *

A: Coach Zimmer was here this morning, we met and talked through the stuff we wanted to get done and the schedule was put together and everything so it was pretty much the way we run things. As I said, I thought we had outstanding energy in practice and I think our guys are excited to go play. 

Q: Was this a spur of the moment thing?

A: Yeah. Like I said, Zim was in this morning and he'll be ready to go tomorrow morning.  

Q: How was he feeling this morning?

A: He was uncomfortable and he wasn't feeling really good, obviously that's where that's at and everything. I just talked to [Eric] Sugarman and he's doing great and he'll be good to go in the morning.      

Q: Has he had the procedure already?

A: Yes.     

Q: Do you know how he's doing right now?

A: He's feeling a lot better. I think anything else I think you should talk to Coach Zimmer about when you have the opportunity to talk to him.

Q: Do you know what's wrong with him?

A: Right now nothing because he's gone through the procedure.

*Q: You didn't make any radical changes in his absence?   *

A: We had it pretty set what we were going to do. Today is a day where you go back and it's a lot of review and it's cleaning up things from Wednesday and Thursday and I think we've had outstanding practices this week.      

Q: You huddled everybody up after stretch. Were you just talking to them about the situation?

A: I told them, "six weeks with them and look what they're doing to the guy" so let's go play better and win, right.

*Q: Do you expect Chad Greenway to play?   *

A: Again, I think it's going to be a deal where they continue to evaluate and it'll probably be a decision made Sunday morning.  

*Q: What about Gerald Hodges? *

A: He's out so I would say probably not.
