Transcript: Zimmer Addressed the Media Friday

*Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer *

Big game this week against the Ravens. Good football team. We need to get our fans and make this the loudest stadium in the NFL. The most rowdy stadium in the NFL so we can get a little bit of home field advantage here against this team.

Q: How does Stefon Diggs look?

A: Good. He always looks good to me.

Q: Will Stefon Diggs play this week?

A: We'll see when the injury report comes out.* *

Q: What's allowed the Ravens to have success in their running game so far?

A: They're doing a good job with really all three of the backs. They run hard, they get good cut-backs, they have a lot of motion – window dressing motion, shifts. They get defenses out of position. They have hardball runs, zone runs.

Q: What kind of difference does Brandon Williams make for them?

A: I saw a stat that when he's playing people rush for 86 yards and when he doesn't it's 160 yards or something like that. He's a great player otherwise they wouldn't have paid him all that money. Fast, quick, strong.

*Q: Is Case Keenum starting Sunday? *

A: Yes.

Q: Can you say with certainty that Kyle Rudolph will play again this season?

A: I believe he will. Yes.* *

Q: Has Sam Bradford seen any specialists this week?

A: Yes. It was last week.

Q: Nothing else this week?

A: No. Same guy. Still not surgical.

Q: What do you see that Alex Collins brings to the table to that running game, specifically?

A: Just the physicality.

Q: With Stefon Diggs, is it just wait and make a decision during bye week or somewhere around there? What is your thinking right now.

A: We have 21 days. We're working him in, seeing how he is doing movement-wise and go from there.

Q: Are there certain things that you've seen from Teddy Bridgewater later in the week that you maybe didn't see on Wednesday?

A: No. He's looked fine everyday.

Q: From the times you faced Eric Weddle, what makes him such a challenge to go against?

A:  He's pretty good at disguising. He makes plays. I think he does a good job of diagnosing things and seeing it. It's kind of always been his M.O.

Q: What do you like about the job Mike Remmers has done this year for you guys?

A: He's done well. It's nice to be able to go out there and count on the offensive line to play well and he's certainly been a big part of it.

Q: What do you think you got out of Jeremiah Sirles last week in his first full game of action?

A: Pretty much what we always get out of him. He's a tough guy. He is going to finish blocks. He doesn't make very many mistakes. He's got a lot of versatility and things he can do.

Q: Is Anthony Barr through the concussion protocol?

A: Yes.
