Transcript: Zimmer Addressed the Media Friday

*Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer *

Q: How have you thought Anthony Harris has done when he has gotten more time in the post month?

A: When he has gotten more time in the past month? (Reporter: *He has gotten some playing time. How do you think he has done?) *He has done OK. Like most young guys, [he has] things to work on.

Q: Is consistency the main thing, or is there one thing that stands out?

A: He plays a little cautious at times.

Q: How about Trae Waynes? Have you seen him let it loose as you had wanted him to do before the year?

A: Yeah. I think he has done a good job. He has played better technique. Obviously, there are still things to work on with him, but his next development will come with understanding more about the game, as opposed to just playing corner.

Q: You've said on Danielle Hunter that the sacks have been a product of the other guys, but overall, where has he made strides this year? What has he done a lot better?

A: He's not as robotic. He just kind of plays.

Q: When Mackensie Alexander gets healthy, what's the next step for him?

A: Well, there are several things, but one of it is he has got to understand the pass interference rules in the NFL, because he gets grabby. But athletically, he's really good athletically. He has just got to learn the NFL game more.

Q: With Waynes, where is his confidence on the field?

A: Where's his confidence? *(Reporter: Yeah. A lot of times, corners, they get beat once, maybe they …) *I haven't noticed any lack of confidence or not confident. He didn't tell me he doesn't have confidence. *(Reporter: What was that?) *He hasn't told me he doesn't have confidence. I don't know. I haven't noticed anything. He seems confident to me.

Q: He's a guy who can rebound after making a mistake?

A: Well, that's part of the job of playing corner, really any position, but people see it a little bit more.

Q: What kind of a guy is Laquon Treadwell in terms of how he has handled this adversity, whether it's the injuries or just not getting on the field early in the season?

A: I know it has bothered him that he has struggled. I've talked to him a lot of times, but he's an extremely hard worker. He does a lot of good things. He's going to be a good player.

Q: What has been the biggest challenge with the offensive line, with all the guys switching in and out at all the positions?

A: Just consistency, working together, consistency.

Q: Will Adrian Peterson be ruled out for Sunday?

A: I don't know, we'll see.

Q: Did he get reinjured during the Indianapolis game, or did he just come back too soon?

A: I don't know. I don't know.
