Nickerson signs to the Vikings practice squad after being waived by the club on Sept. 27, 2022. Nickerson was originally drafted by the New York Jets in the sixth round (No. 179 overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft, where he spent the first season of his career.
The Tulane alum has also spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Green Bay Packers and most recently, the Minnesota Vikings. Nickerson has appeared in 25 career games, making three starts, and has registered 28 tackles (23 solo), including one for a loss, and one pass defensed on defense and has played in 203 snaps on special teams.
