New Vikings Rewards Allows Fans Ways to Score Points, Prizes

The Vikings are scheduled to play 12 games on Sundays, two games on Mondays and two on Thursdays in 2016, but fans will be able to score points every day to redeem on prizes and experiences.

The opportunity to do so will be through Vikings Rewards, a new loyalty program that thanks fans for their passionate support. Vikings Rewards points will be connected to fans' "My Vikings Accounts" for digital ticketing and managed online or through the team's new mobile app.

"The Vikings are proud to launch Vikings Rewards, a program designed to recognize the tremendous passion of our fans and thank them for their spirited support," Vikings Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Steve LaCroix said. "This is one of several planned initiatives that we believe will take fan experiences to superior levels as we open U.S. Bank Stadium this fall."

Fans are able to score points by attending training camp practices and/or Vikings games and other official team events like the Miller Lite Draft Party. They also can score points by connecting their social media accounts or consuming Vikings.com content (reading articles, watching videos, viewing photo galleries).

As fans accumulate points, they'll be able to progress through the ranks of rookie, starter and veteran. There also are ways to become a Pro Bowler and Hall of Famer. Vikings fans will collect digital shields on their journey and have multiple options for redeemable prizes, from T-shirts to hoodies and wheeled coolers to insulated tumblers. Points also can be redeemed for memorabilia or unique experiences.
