Launching new content experience for Vikings fans
Terence Newman and Mike Zimmer go way back. Way, way back, to be honest.
A relationship that's lasted a decade-and-a-half is built on a mutual team-first mentality and trust, which is demonstrated each week during preparations for opponents and on game days. Newman's qualities have enabled him to have significant influence since arriving in Minnesota in 2015.
This season I had the opportunity to sit down with the veteran cornerback for an extended interview at Winter Park. Across a cafeteria table, Newman shared about his time with Zimmer, approach to film study and philosophies on mentorship. That interview led to multiple stories, including the above spotlight that is an extended version of this weekend's Vikings *Playbook *cover story.
I'm excited to share this feature with Vikings fans, but I'm equally thrilled with the new content experience we're rolling out. Through the collaboration of Vikings Entertainment Network team members as well as our talented design team, we've put together the first of what we plan to be recurring features in this format.
