Justin Jefferson Ranked No. 17 in NFL Network's Top 100 Players of 2022

EAGAN, Minn. — Justin Jefferson may not have played in the preseason, but he's still getting accolades.

The Vikings receiver was announced Sunday at No. 17 overall in NFL Network's annual "Top 100 Players of 2022" series.

The series began two weeks ago by revealing Nos. 100-51 – which included Vikings QB Kirk Cousins at 99 – over the course of several hours following the Vikings preseason opener against the Raiders.

Last Sunday, players ranked from 50-21 were unveiled, which included Vikings RB Dalvin Cook at 31.

NFL Films has produced the Top 100 countdown since 2011.

Jefferson first cracked the list in August 2021, when he landed at No. 53 after a phenomenal rookie campaign that earned him his first Pro Bowl nod, as well as being named Second-Team All-Pro by The Associated Press. Jefferson also was honored as part of the PFWA All-Rookie team.

Last season, Jefferson only continued to impress, which is illustrated by his massive jump on the Top 100 list.

The former LSU star racked up 108 catches for 1,616 yards and 10 touchdowns over 17 starts.
