Dalvin Cook Named No. 31 in NFL Network's Top 100 Players of 2022

EAGAN, Minn. — Vikings running back Dalvin Cook was announced Sunday at No. 31 overall in NFL Network's annual "Top 100 Players of 2022" series.

The series began last Sunday by revealing Nos. 100-51 – which included Vikings QB Kirk Cousins at 99 – over the course of several hours following the Vikings preseason opener against the Raiders.

Players ranked from 50-31 were unveiled beginning at 3:30 p.m. (CT) Sunday, and the 30-21 rankings began airing at 10 p.m. (CT).

NFL Films has produced the Top 100 countdown since 2011.

Cook first cracked the list in July 2020, when he landed at No. 21 after a 2019 campaign in which he racked up 1,135 yards and 13 touchdowns.

He moved up a spot to 20 last summer, a tip of his peers' caps to 1,557 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns during the 2020 season.

Though Cook slid down the rankings a bit this year, he's still garnering plenty of high regard by contemporaries around the league.
