EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Monday announced the contract for receiver Albert Wilson has been terminated. The team also announced defensive lineman Jullian Taylor has been waived with an injury designation.

Wilson caught both touchdown passes thrown by Kellen Mond in Minnesota's preseason opener at Las Vegas. He was targeted once against San Francisco.

Taylor has been trying to recover from an injury that's kept him from practicing since Aug. 5.

Wilson and Taylor signed with Minnesota as veteran free agents this offseason.

The moves, plus the acquisition of QB Nick Mullens in a trade Monday, put Minnesota's roster at 84 players.

All NFL teams must reduce their rosters to 75 players by Tuesday, Aug. 23.

The reduction from 75 to the regular-season maximum of 53 must occur by Tuesday, Aug. 30.
