After his first season in Vikings Purple, Jonathan Greenard landed for the first time on the "NFL Top 100" list.

The outside linebacker didn't just make the list, either; he made the top half. Greenard was announced at No. 48 in the "NFL Top 100 Players of 2025" by the league via X Tuesday. He joins (so far) two other teammates who also made their Vikings debuts last season. Running back Aaron Jones, Sr., was ranked 98th, and fellow pass rusher Andrew Van Ginkel was landed at No. 88.

Greenard played 81 percent of Minnesota's defensive snaps across 17 regular-season games and racked up 12 sacks, 59 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles and three passes defensed. His 84 total QB pressures tied with Rams rookie Jared Verse for the league's most in 2024.

Greenard helped the Vikings go 14-3 in the regular season and then recorded three tackles and a QB hit against the Rams in the Wild Card Playoff game.

He and Van Ginkel wreaked havoc from the outside linebacker spots, combining for 23.5 sacks and 36 tackles for loss as both earned their first career Pro Bowl selections.

Greenard garnered NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his Week 3 showing against the Texans, the team that selected him in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He recorded four tackles, highlighted by 3.0 sacks against Houston.

The Georgia native also earned NFC Defensive Player of the Month in November 2024 after totaling 16 tackles, eight tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, five QB hits, a forced fumble and a pass defensed in helping the Vikings go 4-0.
