MINNEAPOLIS — Thousands of Vikings fans finished on the 50-yard line of U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday morning in the Twin Cities Orthopedics Vikings 5K.
More than 4,000 runners ran or walked the 3.1-mile course from Minneapolis South High School to Downtown Minneapolis. The course included a lap around the exterior of U.S. Bank Stadium, featuring a trek past the Legacy Ship and Legacy Gates before runners sprinted on the playing surface.
After finishing the course, participants were able to tour the Vikings locker room. They received T-shirts and medals.
The fourth-annual TCO Vikings 5K also featured a Healthy Living Expo on the plaza outside the stadium.
