EAGAN, Minn. — Bo Richter and Zavier Scott are remaining in purple and gold.
The Vikings on Monday announced they have re-signed the outside linebacker and running back who made their NFL debuts with Minnesota in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
Richter, 25, was an undrafted free agent signing by the club out of the Air Force Academy two years ago and has established himself as a key contributor on various special teams units in the past two seasons.
Across 31 appearances — occasionally logging snaps on defense (29 in 2024; 52 in 2025) — Richter, listed at 6-foot-1 and 248 pounds, has ledgered 19 tackles (including 12 on special teams), one pass deflection and one fumble recovery.

Scott, 26, joined Minnesota just before the 2024 season and spent his first year in the organization on the practice squad. He impressed last summer to earn a spot on the team's initial 53-man roster and wound up playing in 16 contests in 2025. While handling a little more than 100 offensive snaps, Scott carried the rock 32 times for 114 yards (3.6 avg.) and caught 14 of 16 targets for 98 yards, highlighted by his first career touchdown.
A college receiver/running back at Connecticut and Maine, Scott secured a nifty catch in the end zone on a throw from Carson Wentz to score against the Steelers during their Week 5 meeting in Ireland last year.
Scott, who is 6-foot-1 and 221 pounds, began his NFL journey on Indianapolis' practice squad in 2023.
