EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Monday announced they have activated receiver Blake Proehl from the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list.
Proehl has worked his way back from a torn ACL he suffered during joint practices with the Denver Broncos in 2021.
He joined Minnesota in May 2021 as an undrafted free agent out of East Carolina.
Proehl totaled 130 catches for 1,576 yards (12.1 yards per catch) and nine scores in three seasons with the Pirates.
In order to make room on its 53-man roster, the Vikings waived safety Myles Dorn.
Dorn first joined the Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2020. After missing his rookie season with an injury, Dorn played in nine games in 2021. He's appeared in four games this season. Dorn played 140 special teams snaps in 2021 and has participated in 54 this season.
