Vikings Postgame Report: The Minnesota Vikings Defeat The Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-16 At Raymond James Stadium, Improve To 3-0 - WK 3

Welcome back to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-16 on Sunday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium.  The Vikings jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter and ran out the lead wire-to-wire in the game. Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray led the offense and finished the game 15-of-29 for 168 yards passing, a passing touchdown and an interception. Running back Aaron Jones Sr. led the rushing attack with 17 carries for 58 yards. Wide receiver Jordan Addison stepped up and led the receiving corps with 5 receptions for 90 yards which included a 41-yard touchdown reception in the 2nd quarter. Kicker Will Reichard was perfect yet again, finishing the contest 3-of-3 in field goals and converting 2 extra points. Defensively, the guys played another incredible game. The team sacked Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield six times, including: 1.5 sacks by linebackers Kyle Van Noy and Eric Wilson, 1 sack by linebacker Blake Cashman and safety Josh Metellus, and outside linebacker Dallas Turner, linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel, and linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. all had half-a-sack in the game. Van Ginkel and cornerback Isaiah Rodgers both recorded interceptions deep in the 4th quarter, including Rodgers's game-sealing grab at the whistle.
