Workout Warriors: Running Backs

Running backs followed the leaders on Friday at the NFL Scouting Combine.

**Offensive linemen started** this year's on-field position drills in the morning before yielding to their faster classmates at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Much of the outside focus on running backs turns to the 40-yard dash, the most promoted on-field measurement drill each year.

North Carolina's T.J. Logan clocked the fastest time at 4.37 seconds, followed by Utah's Joe Williams (4.40) and North Carolina A&T's Tarik Cohen (4.42). Players who received a considerable amount of pre-combine buzz like Stanford's Christian McCaffrey and Florida State's Dalvin Cook clocked 4.49 and 4.50, respectively, nudging Leonard Fournette, the 240-pounder from LSU (4.51).

Tennessee's Alvin Kamara had the best broad jump (10 feet, 11 inches) and vertical jump (39.5).
