Winter Park Rewind: October 6 - 10

Get caught up on the week that was at Winter Park leading into Sunday's game against the Lions:

Monday, October 6

Due to last week's Thursday night game against the Packers, the team's schedule was a little bit different than normal early in the week, with players not due back at Winter Park until Tuesday mornning. However, as always, Mike Wobschall got the week started with the Monday Morning Mailbag by looking ahead to another division game this Sunday against the Lions.

Wobschall also headed into the film room to look at Anthony Barr's stellar start to his rookie season, and also addressed fan comments and questions via the Pick 6 Video Mailbag. Watch both of those videos below:

Even though the game wasn't very pretty, look back at some exclusive images from the loss at Lambeau Field.

Tuesday, October 7

The players were back at Winter Park for a brief morning practice, and aftewards, Head Coach Mike Zimmer addressed the media:

Prior to practice, the Vikings shuffled the deck a bit in regards to the practice squad, signing three players and releasing one.

Wednesday, October 8

The true preperation for the Lions began on Wednesday, both for the team and here on vikings.com. Wobschall outlines five storylines to watch heading into the game here.

As Peters writes, the Vikings are very aware of the problems the Lions front-four on defense can cause for opposing offenses.

Both Zimmer and QB Teddy Bridgewater addressed the media following the club's morning walk-thru.

Thursday, October 9

This week's Ticketmaster Hot Matchup takes a look at the defensive line for both teams, which is a strength for each.

The potential loss of Calvin Johnson from the Lions offense due to the ankle injury he's dealing with would of coruse make a major impact. Wobschall heads into the film room to show exactly how that will impact them from an X's and O's standpoint.

One 'talker' amongst fans recently has been the lack of touches from Cordarrelle Patterson on offense. Both Patterson and Offensive Norv Turner addressed that issue during their weekly press conferences:

Friday, October 10
