The draft boards of the Vikings and 31 other NFL teams will receive most of today's talk, but a different board is about to gain attention in Minneapolis.
Crews have completed the installation of the high-tech, HD video board on the west prow of U.S. Bank Stadium.
The LED board was manufactured by Daktronics in Redwood Falls, Minnesota, like its larger indoor counterparts.
The exterior board will be turned on to undergo an illumination stress test for 24 continuous hours and will be visible on the Vikings live streaming camera.
U.S. Bank Stadium remains on track for completion this summer and is scheduled to host its first Vikings preseason game on Aug. 28 when Minnesota plays San Diego in a game nationally broadcast by FOX. The Vikings first regular season game at the state-of-the-art venue is scheduled for Sept. 18, when the rival Packers visit for a showdown on NBC's Sunday Night Football.
