While U.S. Bank Stadium has won multiple local awards, including "Special Recognition" from the ACG Bold Awards, "Large Project of the Year" from the Association of Women Contractors and "Best Sports Venue" from Minnesota Meetings & Events Magazine, the venue has also been named a finalist for several national and international awards. Two of the most recent announcements come from The Stadium Business Awards, which "recognize leadership, innovation and achievement in the delivery, operation and management of sports facilities globally." Launched in 2010, The Stadium Business Awards are the first industry awards for the stadium sector, by the stadium sector.
The Stadium Business Awards has named U.S. Bank Stadium a finalist in two categories – "Venue of the Year" and "New Venue" – for the 2017 Awards Ceremony set to take place in Dublin, Ireland, on June 22. While the "Venue of the Year" award will be determined by a panel of judges, the "New Venue" winner will be determined by an online vote.
