Vote: Teddy Up For Rookie of the Week

Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has been nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week for Week 17, the NFL announced Monday.

Bridgewater recorded his sixth victory in his 12th start (setting franchise records in both categories for a rookie QB) in leading Minnesota past Chicago 13-9 to end the 2014 regular season. Bridgewater completed 17 of 25 passes for 209 yards and threw a 44-yard touchdown pass to Adam Thielen in leading the Vikings to victory.

The award is determined by fan voting (**click here to vote**), and Bridgewater has previously received more support than classmates in Week 4 and Week 13. Voting will continue until 2 p.m. (CT) Friday.

Other nominees for Week 17 are New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr., Cleveland Browns running back Terrance West,* *Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jordan Matthews and Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Telvin Smith.

The winner will be announced Friday on *NFL Total Access *on NFL Network and on NFL.com.

Five players will be nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors, with voting scheduled for the month of January. The winner of that award will be announced at the "4th Annual NFL Honors" awards show in Arizona on NBC on Jan. 31, the eve of Super Bowl XLIX.

This is Pepsi's 13th year as the official soft drink sponsor of the NFL and the 12th year that Pepsi will present the NFL Rookie of the Week and NFL Rookie of the Year awards.
