Eden Prairie, MN (March 18, 2016) – The Vikings announced on Friday that the club has signed free agent T Andre Smith.
Smith joins the Vikings after spending 7 seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. The former Alabama standout has started 73 career games while appearing in 82 after being selected with the 6th overall selection in the 2009 NFL Draft. Smith, who was with Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer in Cincinnati from 2009-13, has started at RT in 68 of the 69 games he's played in since 2011. The Birmingham, Ala. native has been on 3 division-winning teams and played in 5 career playoff games, starting 4, in his 7 seasons in the NFL.
