EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Saturday announced they have signed quarterback John Wolford from their practice squad to the 53-man roster.

Minnesota (4-8) also announced it has downgraded running back Ty Chandler's status for Week 14 against Washington (3-9) from questionable to out.

The Vikings are using standard elevations for cornerback Dwight McGlothern, Jr., and defensive lineman Taki Taimani for Sunday's game at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Wolford joins J.J. McCarthy, who is scheduled to return to action after missing Week 13 at Seattle while in concussion protocol, as well as undrafted rookie Max Brosmer. Wolford has four career starts with the Rams but has not appeared in an NFL game since 2022.

Chandler has been on Injured Reserve since suffering a knee injury in Week 1 at Chicago. His 21-day evaluation window opened this week.
