Vikings Sign Aviante Collins to Active Roster, Place Brett Jones on Reserve/Injured

Eagan, Minn. (November 14, 2019) – The Minnesota Vikings announce the following roster moves:

Prior to being elevated to the 53-man roster, Collins (6-4, 292) spent the first 10 weeks of the season on the team's practice squad after being waived during final cuts (8/31/19). Originally signed by Minnesota as an undrafted free agent in 2017, the Houston, Texas, native saw action in four regular season games in his rookie season. During Minnesota's playoff run that season, Collins played on offense and special teams in both the Philadelphia and New Orleans games.

Keenoy (6-3, 300) joins the Vikings practice squad after being waived during final cuts (8/31/19). A rookie from Kentwood, Michigan, Keenoy spent the entirety of training camp with Minnesota after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent on May 3, 2019. He started 50 games at center during his collegiate career at Western Michigan and was tabbed to watch lists for the Rimington and Outland Trophies for two straight seasons (2017-18).

Originally signed as an undrafted free agent on May 3, 2019, Davis (5-11, 195) spent the first three weeks of the season on the Vikings practice squad before being elevated to the active roster on September 18. He did not see action in two games and was waived by the team in Week 6. Davis re-signed with Minnesota as a member of the practice squad on October 14 and was signed to the active roster on October 24, making his NFL debut against Washington on Thursday Night Football. He was active but did not play at Kansas City (11/3) and saw action on offense and special teams at Dallas (11/10). Davis is a native of Hutto, Texas, and set Southland Conference and Sam Houston State records with 40 receiving touchdowns for his collegiate career.
