The Minnesota Vikings have re-signed veteran G Charlie Johnson, the club announced today.

Johnson originally signed with the Minnesota Vikings on August 1, 2011. Johnson, a 9-year veteran, has started all 47 games he has appeared in with the Vikings over the past 3 seasons. In 2013, he made 15 starts for an offensive line that helped the Vikings rushing attack lead the NFL with 23 rushing touchdowns. Johnson started all 16 games during the 2012 season, helping RB Adrian Peterson rush for 2,097 yards, the 2nd-most in NFL history while earning MVP honors. Johnson, a 6th-round pick (199th overall) by the Indianapolis Colts in 2006, has started 101-of-120 career games.
