An organization that started with a goal of brightening the holidays for one Minnesota family in 2011 has expanded to the goal of making a major impact on 20 families this year.

**Best Christmas Ever** is a local, nonprofit organization that is privately funded and supported by volunteers. It was formed to give families in need "an unforgettable Christmas experience" to help families move beyond hard times.

Families can be nominated by others until Dec. 1, 2015.

Selected families will receive substantial help from individuals and companies, including the Minnesota Vikings.

Best Christmas Ever grew to help five families in 2013, 10 in Minnesota and Wisconsin in 2014 and will help 20 this year.
