EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. —** The Vikings hold eight picks in the 2016 NFL Draft, which is less than a week away.
The Vikings currently hold picks No. 23 (first round), No. 54 (second round), No. 86 (third round), No. 121 (fourth round), No. 160 (fifth round) and No. 180 (sixth round), plus No. 240 and No. 244 in the seventh and final round.
Some picks, such as Minnesota's No. 23 selection, are familiar. The Vikings recently drafted out of the same spot in 2013 when they took defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd.
But Minnesota has never had the 160th pick in its franchise history.
Here's a quick look at the history of the 21 players at each pick the Vikings currently hold:
No. 23
Besides Floyd, the Vikings also selected wide receiver Lance Rentzel at this spot in 1965. Click here for more info on the pair of players.

The Vikings drafted tight end Mike Jones here in 1990, and he played two seasons with the franchise. Safety Brad Edwards was picked here in 1988. No. 86
Cornerback Asher Allen was selected one round after Loadholt in 2009. The former Georgia standout picked off four passes in three seasons. Defensive back Mike Townsend was picked here in 1974 but opted to play in the World Football League.
No. 121
