Vikings Extend Broadcast Agreement With iHeartMedia Minneapolis

Eagan, Minn. (December 18, 2019) – The Minnesota Vikings and iHeartMedia Minneapolis's KFAN 100.3 and KTLK 1130 have announced a five-year extension renewing KFAN and KTLK broadcast rights of Vikings preseason, regular season and postseason games.

"The Vikings are dedicated to providing our fans with quality access and programming, both on game-day and throughout the year," said Vikings Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Steve LaCroix. "We're excited to continue offering the best radio broadcast team in the NFL in addition to growing our partnership with all iHeartMedia stations."

The 2020 season will mark the 20th consecutive year KFAN will serve as the flagship station for the Vikings Radio Network, one of the largest radio networks in the NFL. The extension will also include continued co-produced Vikings-related football programming on KFAN and the incorporation of promotional events and game coverage across all of the iHeartMedia Minneapolis brands and platforms, including on-air, online and via the iHeartRadio app.

"My thanks to the Wilf family and all the great people we work with at the Minnesota Vikings," said iHeartMedia Market President Jeff Tyler. "They are at the top level of sports franchises and our entire team at iHeartMedia Minneapolis is thrilled to have the opportunity to continue our partnership for another five years. Both organizations are dedicated to innovation and excellence which makes this partnership so unique and valuable."

To celebrate the continued partnership, fans will have the chance to enter to win tickets to watch the Vikings play the Green Bay Packers at U.S. Bank Stadium each year for the next five regular seasons. The contest can be entered online at kfan.com/contests or on-air through any of the following local iHeart stations: KFAN, KTLK, K102, KOOL108, KDWB and Cities97.
