Vikings Add Josh Doctson To 53-Man Roster

The Vikings have signed WR Josh Doctson to the 53-man roster, the club announced on Friday.

Doctson (6-2, 205) is activated to the 53-man roster after being placed on injured reserve on September 12, 2019. Doctson joined the Vikings after being released by Washington on Saturday, August 31. The fourth-year pro has appeared in 33 career games with 26 starts, all with Washington, while posting 81 career receptions for 1,100 yards and eight touchdowns. Doctson was selected 22nd overall in the 2016 NFL Draft by Washington, where he was teammates with QB Kirk Cousins from 2016-18. The Mansfield, Texas, native was teammates with T Aviante Collins at TCU from 2013-15.
