Transcript: Zimmer and Bradford Addressed the Media Thursday

*Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer *

Okay, well we all hope that Sid Hartman is doing better. He had a little mishap, and Bob Hagan has seen him quite a few times. So, we need to get him back out here so he can butt in front of you guys.

Q: Do you have an update on his status?

A: Yeah he's doing pretty good, right? He's doing a lot better.

Q: Do you think you'll have Adrian Peterson playing on Saturday for you?

A: I don't know. We will see.

Q: How did Harrison look moving around out there?

A: Pretty good.

Q: Any concerns with him yet at this point?

A: Concerns like what?

Q: Like his movement skills?

A: He moved pretty good. You were out here for individual [drills], weren't you? (Reporter: Yeah, for individuals.)

Q: What will be the factors that will determine if Adrian plays on Saturday?

A: There are lots of factors.

Q: It seems like they play with a lot of energy, the Packers. What is it during this four game streak, other than the turnovers, that the Packers are doing well?

A: Well they're number one in the league in touchdowns on first possessions of the game. So, you know they go down there and they score. They get you behind. Then the defense has a chance to pressure you some more. They've been taking good care of the football. [Aaron] Rodgers has been extremely accurate. I think Jordy Nelson has been a lot more involved than the first time we played them. 17 [Davante Adams], he has been making a lot of catches lately. I think that's one of the big things, and then the running game is a lot better. With [Ty] Montgomery now, he seems to have given them a big lift in that.

Q: The first third down that they had Sunday, all the talk was about Aaron Rodgers' hamstring, his calf, but he moved around the whole game and it didn't seem to affect him at all, did it?

A: He looked a little bit gimpy in some of it. That one he had a pretty open spot, but yeah, even when he's gimpy, he's pretty mobile. And actually, as the game got going more, he looked like he had loosened it up.

Q: Do you notice a big difference the way Nelson is running based from when he played in September to now?

A: Yeah' I think he's just a lot more comfortable in the routes he's running from the first time.

Q: Healthier too, just coming back from ACL?

A: Yeah, I'm sure.

Q: What do you remember about the fake punt last year's Green Bay game? Adam Thielen kind of set the tone of the game.

A: What do I remember about it? *(Reporter: Yeah, what do you remember about that? Obviously, it was a gutsy call, but it got you guys going.) *It worked. It worked. I remember that.

Q: How big of a difference does Harrison Smith make from a communication perspective and his experience versus Anthony Harris?

A: Harrison is a good player. So, when he plays, he's more instinctive. He plays faster. He's a physical tackler, good blitzer, good cover guy. I don't think it's just experience. I think it's he's a good player.

Q: Obviously the depth at the start of the season was a factor – you lost some of your depth – but why do you think this year's rookie class hasn't made nearly the impact that last year's rookie class made?

A: I don't know. I haven't thought about that.
