Vikings Training Camp to Feature Local Artisans & Chefs in New Fan Activations

EAGAN, Minn. — Vikings Training Camp this year is featuring three new activations focused on connecting with local communities.

Fans who attend training camp at Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center will have the opportunity to take in new experiences that include complimentary tastings from Twin Cities restaurants, an artisan market and other unique giveaways.

"When designing these activations, we set out to reflect the rich tapestry of Minnesota and tap into things that bring people together — food, fashion and art," Vikings Coordinator of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Imani McCormick said. "Like football, these cultural expressions can spark connection, pride and a sense of belonging. By collaborating with local entrepreneurs and creatives, we're building deeper, more personal connections with our fans and the communities we represent."

Esera National Anthem

Vikings Legend Esera Tuaolo, who played for Minnesota from 1992-96 and has since performed the National Anthem at multiple Vikings games, will be on-site July 28 to serve fans from his new St. Joseph-based restaurant 98 Hawaiian Grill.

"Aloha and Mahalo! As a former member of the Minnesota Vikings, it is a profound honor to remain connected to an organization that truly exemplifies the spirit of 'Ohana, which means 'family' in my native home of Hawaii," Tuaolo said. "I am sincerely grateful for the continued support the Minnesota Vikings have shown throughout my journey, especially in the work I've been privileged to do within the community.

First 1,000 fans to visit will be able to choose from two exclusive designs to express their personal style. Signature squares will be screen-printed live on-site by Alchemist Printing Company.
