The 4-0 Vikings have two All-Stars in the FOX Sports lineup this week.
Drumroll please … tight end T.J. Hockenson earned his first distinction of 2026 after nabbing 13 catches, and outside linebacker Dallas Turner garnered his second mention with 2.0 sacks.
Greg Auman recognized both players were huge for Minnesota in its 15-10 win over Miami.
Hockenson's big day included resetting the franchise record for receptions in a game against the Dolphins, surpassing Cris Carter, Jake Reed and Sammy White, who each had a game with nine, and Turner had his fifth career strip sack and second this season to tie Yannick Ngakoue in 2020 for the most through the first four games of a Vikings campaign.
Auman wrote the following about Hockenson:
We heard a lot from Raiders fans unhappy that Brock Bowers didn't get this nod last week, and we're snubbing him again. His 86 yards and a touchdown against the Chiefs were compelling, but T.J. Hockenson slid at the 1-yard line, giving up a touchdown to help the Minnesota Vikings finish out a close win over the Miami Dolphins. Hockenson still had 13 catches for 119 yards, matching the second-most catches by a tight end in the last five years (he also had 13 in Week 16 against the Giants in 2022). This wasn't the record-setting scoring week for tight ends that Week 3 was, but Hockenson was the best of the bunch.

And here's what Auman said of Turner, who was also a Week 2 All-Star:
Turner returned to form (note: never left) with two sacks in the Vikings defense-driven win over the Dolphins. His 5.5 sacks are a half shy of Buffalo's Greg Rousseau for the NFL lead.
Here's the running tab of Vikings All-Stars through the first month of the season.
Week 1: WR Justin Jefferson & OLB Andrew Van Ginkel
Week 2: OLB Dallas Turner
Week 3: ST Myles Price
Week 4: TE T.J. Hockenson and OLB Dallas Turner

All-Rookie Team so far
The Athletic's Dane Brugler took a stab at his first All-Rookie squad this season.
Before unveiling his picks, however, the NFL Draft expert noted, "There are always examples of teams getting a hot start only to fizzle late, so the same could be said for rookies — it isn't how you start, it is how you finish. Plenty will change between now and the end of the season, but credit to the first-year players who have come out strong."
We will highlight a few of Brugler's selections (his story can be found here), but first we want to relay that a couple Vikings rookies made out as Honorable Mentions: defensive lineman Caleb Banks (Round 1, Pick No. 18) and linebacker Jake Golday (Round 2, Pick 51).
Also, we'd like to point out fellow rookie DL Domonique Orange has played almost exactly as many snaps as Banks (around 30% of the defense's total) and is part of a front that has contributed the fifth-most expected points by a rushing defense — 12.94 per Pro Football Reference. Additionally, rookie fullback Max Bredeson has looked like a solid fit in his role.
Other first-year Vikings have impressed, although in smaller capacities through four games.
OK, now back to Brugler's squad of rookie standouts. Here's his breakdown at DT and LB.
Defensive tackle
First team: Skyler Gill-Howard, Lions; Lee Hunter, Panthers
Second team: Aaron Hall, Panthers; Peter Woods, Chiefs
Honorable mentions: Gracen Halton, 49ers; Chris McClellan, Packers; Darrell Jackson Jr., Jets; Caleb Banks, Vikings; LT Overton, Cowboys
Linebacker
First team: Arvell Reese, Giants; Jacob Rodriguez, Dolphins
Second team: Sonny Styles, Commanders; Josiah Trotter, Buccaneers; Anthony Hill Jr., Titans
Honorable mentions: Jaishawn Barham, Cowboys; Harold Perkins Jr., Falcons; Kendal Daniels, Falcons; Jaden Dugger, 49ers; Bryce Boettcher, Colts; Namdi Obiazor, Patriots; Jake Golday, Vikings
Brugler offered analysis for each crop of First- and Second-Teamers.
We figured it's worth pointing out that Rodriguez, a native of Hastings, Minnesota, racked up 18 tackles Sunday for the Fins, which is the most by a player in a game this season, and then Trotter was inactive because of injury when the Vikings visited Tampa Bay in Week 3.
