Teddy Up For Rookie of the Week Award

Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has been nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week for his Week 13 performance against the Panters.

Bridgewater recorded his fourth victory in his eighth game as Minnesota's starting quarterback and posted a career high passer rating of 120.7.

Bridgewater completed 15 of 21 passes (71 percent) for 138 yards and led touchdown drives on Minnesota's opening and closing possessions of the first half. Bridgewater found Kyle Rudolph on a rollout pass for a 4-yard touchdown and led an 11-play, 80-yard drive that was finished with a 17-yard catch-and-run TD by Greg Jennings. 

Fans can vote for Bridgewater at www.nfl.com/rookies until 2 p.m. (CT) Friday, Dec. 5.

Other nominees this week include St. Louis Rams running back Tre Mason, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Donte Moncrief, Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Aaron Colvin and* *Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams. 

The Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week will be announced Friday on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on NFL.com.

This is Pepsi's 13th year as the official soft drink sponsor of the NFL and the 12th year that Pepsi will present the NFL Rookie of the Week and NFL Rookie of the Year awards.
