EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Wednesday signed two veterans, OLB Kyle Van Noy and RB DeeJay Dallas to their practice squad and brought back second-year QB Max Brosmer and rookie WR Dillon Bell.

In corresponding moves, the team waived seventh-round rookie center Gavin Gerhardt, as well as two undrafted rookies — OL Tristan Leigh and OLB Cam'Ron Stewart — and guard Joshua Gray.

Van Noy, 35, spent the past three seasons with Baltimore where he started 29 of 45 regular-season games and recorded 23.5 sacks and 39 hits on quarterbacks, including career highs of 12.5 and 21 in 2024.

That production two years ago earned Van Noy his first Pro Bowl selection. He also is a two-time Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots in 2016 and 2018. During that time, Van Noy played for New England linebackers coach and current Vikings Defensive Coordinator Brian Flores.

Van Noy paced players in the 2018 postseason with three sacks. He notched a pair in the AFC Championship Game victory over Kansas City, and he had one in Super Bowl LIII, which was Flo's final game with New England before he accepted the head coaching job in Miami. Van Noy reunited with Flores on the Dolphins in 2020 and posted 69 tackles, 6.0 sacks and six passes defended.

In 12 NFL seasons, Van Noy has tallied 561 tackles, including 74 for losses, 57 sacks, 39 passes defended, 14 forced fumbles, four interceptions and three defensive touchdowns. He entered the league in 2014 as a second-round pick by Detroit out of BYU where he had 25 sacks in 52 contests.

The 6-foot-3, 255-pound Van Noy has suited up for five franchises in total: Detroit (2014-16); New England (2016-19, 2021); Miami (2020); the Los Angeles Chargers (2022); and Baltimore (2023-25).

Van Noy joins a Vikings OLB room that consists of Andrew Van Ginkel, Dallas Turner, Bo Richter and Chaz Chambliss on the 53-man roster. Second-year defender Tyler Batty was placed on season-ending Injured Reserve on Sunday.

Dallas, 27, was a fourth-round draft pick by Seattle in 2020 out of Miami and is reuniting with General Manager Nolan Teasley after spending 2025 with Carolina and Jacksonville. He appeared in 61 games for the Seahawks from 2020-23 and 17 for Arizona in 2024 prior to splitting time with the Panthers and Jaguars.

In 84 career games, Dallas has rushed 124 times for 538 yards and four touchdowns. He also has caught 64 passes for 407 yards and two scores and returned 89 kickoffs for an average of 25.3 yards and one touchdown.

Brosmer and Bell were with Minnesota throughout the offseason and training camp. Brosmer went 1-1 in two starts last season. Bell was added after the 2026 NFL Draft out of Georgia and contributed in the run and pass games during the preseason.
