Standing 95 feet tall at their peak, the five pivoting glass doors that open to the west plaza and downtown Minneapolis are certainly a signature piece of the new Vikings stadium. Recently the steel columns that will guide those doors were brought from their manufacturer - Merrill Iron & Steel – to be placed on the construction site. When fully erected, the columns will give fans an idea just how high the largest pivoting doors in the world will be.
