Sharrif Floyd, Xavier Rhodes Out For Sunday Night Football Game

The Minnesota Vikings will open the brand new $1.1 billion U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday Night Football against NFC North rival Green Bay, and they will do so without two key members of the defense.

After missing practice all week, DT Sharrif Floyd and CB Xavier Rhodes have been ruled out for the primetime contest. TE MyCole Pruitt is also listed as out for Sunday. T Matt Kalil, who practiced (limited) Friday for the first time this week, is listed as questionable.

Seven other players – C Nick Easton, RB Jerick McKinnon, LB Eric Kendricks, TE Kyle Rudolph, RB Adrian Peterson, WR Charles Johnson and TE Rhett Ellison – have all been listed on the injury report this week but all were full participants today.

The Packers did not practice on Friday. The Friday practice participation designations are an estimation.

Packers CB Josh Hawkins was listed as out for Sunday after not participating in practice all week for Green Bay. S Chris Banjo, LB Jayrone Elliott, CB Sam Shields all did not participate in practice this week and are listed as doubtful.

WR Trevor Davis was a full participant in practice on Thursday and is questionable for Sunday. WR Jeff Janis was also a full participant in practice on Thursday.
