The Vikings had a little extra Purple on the road in Chicago.

A group of 45 Vikings Season Ticket Members traveled to the Windy City for a special weekend experience as winners of an STM Renewal Sweepstakes.

Fans received a one-night hotel stay, access to an exclusive Season Ticket Member tailgate and tickets to the Vikings-Bears matchup at Soldier Field. They weathered the rainy afternoon and were rewarded with a hard-fought contest and 9-3 Minnesota victory.

Patricia Hamm has held season tickets since before the Vikings inaugural 1961 season and said she has "never felt better" about being an STM with the organization.

"It was so wild and fun!" Hamm exclaimed.

John Holland, an STM since 2003, called it "an amazing experience."

"Having lower-level tickets in the section facing Jalen Redmond's strip tackle of the Bears running back at the 1-yard line, Isaiah Rodgers' blocked field goal and Dallas Turner's game-ending sack is something that we'll always remember," Holland said.

The trip marked the first of its kind and provided a unique opportunity for fans to connect with one another.

"It was really fun sharing this experience with other Season Ticket Members," said Brandon Wagner. "I had a lot of fun socializing with them and cheering on the Vikings together. And it makes it even better when we win, of course."

In addition to the Chicago voyage, fans who renewed their season tickets for the 2026 season also were entered for a trip to the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh. Four individuals were selected and able to bring a guest for the three-night experience.
