Room for Chef Dalvin Cook in Minneapolis Kitchen After First NFL Victory

Video by Yoom Nguyen, owner of Lotus Uptown

Dalvin Cook and the Vikings offense had the winning recipe for the Saints on Monday.

It turns out his franchise record of 127 rushing yards by a rookie running back in Week 1 was only the start of the sizzle.

**GoMN.com’s Joe Nelson reported** that Cook and his family tried to have dinner at the Lotus Uptown. The chefs had left for the evening, but there was room for Cook in the kitchen.

Yoom Nguyen, owner of Lotus Uptown told Nelson, "After the game, Dalvin Cook came in with his family for some food at the Lotus Uptown. Kitchen was closed and the chefs all left for the night. I jokingly told him if he wanted some food, he's going to have to cook it himself."

Cook stepped up to the wok and made chicken and shrimp lo mein that Nguyen described as "delicious."

Check out Nguyen's social media post to see Cook's work.
