Ring of Honor: Fred Zamberletti


Zamberletti is the first athletic trainer the Vikings had and continues working with the team's athletic training staff giving advice and counsel. He has never missed a Vikings pre-season, regular season, post-season or all-star game, working 888 consecutive contests since his start in 1961. He has not missed a day of work in all of his seasons with the team.  He has won numerous awards in his field, including being named the Professional Athletic Trainer of the Year in 1986 and in 1996 the Vikings staff was honored as the NFL Athletic Training Staff of the Year. The Vikings inducted him into the Ring of Honor on December 20, 1998.
