"He is a pure cover corner with the ability to pattern match around the field, but don't expect him to be a plus tackler in run support," Zierlein said. "He has the traits of a first-round cornerback, but some teams may be put off by some of his annoyances."
Stacking up: NFL Media analyst Bucky Brooks and his counterpart Mike Mayock both listed Tabor as fourth-best among cornerbacks, while Chris Burke of Sports Illustrated ranked Tabor at No. 7 at his position in this draft class.
Stingy DB in D.C.: Tabor attended Friendship Academy in Washington, D.C., where he was the only sophomore among the *Washington Post *All-Met first and second teams in 2011. According to the *Washington Post, *Tabor did not allow a single reception during his junior year. As a senior, he recorded five interceptions and 17 pass breakups and helped Friendship Academy to its second consecutive berth in the DCSAA AA championship game.
