The above are just some of the ways Case Keenum has been described during his football career by his coaches and teammates.

Keenum, a native of Abilene, Texas, stepped in during Week 2 of his first season in Purple and admirably helped lead Minnesota to a 13-3 regular season. On Sunday, the Vikings will host the Saints at U.S. Bank Stadium with a chance to progress further into the playoffs.

It will be Keenum's first postseason start.

Vikings defensive end Brian Robison has followed Keenum's career since his standout years at the University of Houston.

"I think the great thing about Case is, every time he's gotten an opportunity, he's tried to make the most of it," Robison said. "And this year, even though it probably wasn't really the way he wanted to get the starting job, once he got that opportunity, he took advantage of it and finally was able to show people what I've been actually seeing for years."
