EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Monday announced the signing of outside linebacker Kenny Dyson.
Minnesota waived rookie OLB Arden Walker in a corresponding roster move.
Dyson, 25, was undrafted in 2024 and initially signed with Carolina, spending his rookie season on the Panthers practice squad. Dyson was elevated for two games that year and had two tackles and a QB hit.
Dyson was waived by Carolina after the 2025 NFL Draft and didn't sign with any club last season. He played for the UFL's Houston Gamblers in the spring, recording 27 tackles (seven for a loss) and 4.5 sacks.
A native of Stamford, Connecticut, Dyson appeared in 44 contests over five seasons at Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. The 6-foot-3, 244-pounder tallied 104 tackles (35 TFLs), 25.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, one interception and six passes defended in his college career. He was a First-Team All-Conference selection in 2022 and 2023.
