Season Ticket Members' Seat Selection Exclusivity Ends in January

Current Vikings Season Ticket Members' priority access to the New Stadium Preview Center and new stadium tickets is down to its final weeks. Now that all 16 zones have had an opportunity to secure seats in the new home for Vikings football, Season Ticket Member exclusivity is set to end on January 9, 2015. Shortly after, fans who purchased season tickets during the team's first season at TCF Bank Stadium will begin setting appointments to tour the Preview Center. Season Ticket Members within the first 16 zones who have yet to set an appointment can do so here.

First Queen's Post Truss Placed on Site

Earlier this week the first of 10 queen's post trusses was placed on the construction site. Weighing 280,000 pounds and measuring 190 feet long by 11.5 wide, the steel beam extends north from the center ridge truss. The remaining nine queen's post trusses, all extending north or south from the ridge truss, will be placed over the next seven months and will ultimately support the hard deck and ETFE roof. "Bud Grant Way" to be Unveiled Next Monday; First 500 Fans in Attendance to Receive Free Lapel Pin

The City of Minneapolis has announced its intention to dedicate a street near the new Vikings stadium in honor of former Vikings and NFL Hall of Fame Head Coach Bud Grant.

Plans call for 9th Avenue South between 6th Street and 7th Street to be named "Bud Grant Way" during a dedication ceremony open to the public at 12:15 p.m. on December 1, 2014. The name will replace the commemorative name "Carew Drive," which has since moved near Target Field. The event is open to the public, and the first 500 fans will receive free "Bud Grant Way" lapel pins.
