The 2017-2018 Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders have announced their team captains who will lead the team during exciting and historic season in preparation for the first Super Bowl hosted at U.S. Bank Stadium. The team captains have proved themselves as accomplished veterans and have earned the honor of guiding our team for the upcoming season. Coming from diverse dance backgrounds and combining a wide range of strengths, this set of captains is one of the most qualified in MVC history. Meet the captains of your 2017-2018 Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders!

Samantha

Back for her second season, Samantha was the first-ever captain of our MVC Ambassadors last year and helped develop the role into the highly respected position within the MVC that it is today. Samantha is loved and admired by the team for her contagious laugh, her natural-born leadership skills and her die-hard love for the Vikings. She even has a "purple room" in her new home decked out with Vikings decor!

Samantha's pageant experience has taught her skills that she has carried into her role as a Vikings Cheerleader.

"From the many experiences I had through competing in pageants, my confidence grew, and I feel this helped me be the best version of myself, which has helped me be the best MVC I can be," Samantha said.

A rookie captain last year, Samantha was challenged to lead our inaugural team of Ambassadors while learning the ropes herself. This year, she's excited to get back to U.S. Bank Stadium and enjoy her second season.

"As a second-year captain, I am looking forward to giving more of myself to my team as I now have a better understanding of how the season will be," Samantha said.

Samantha knows what it takes to be a successful MVC Ambassador and how important they are to the organization in order to provide the fans with the best game day experience as possible.

"Some of the top qualities I feel are vital to be a successful Ambassador are being relatable, genuine and real," Samantha said. "I feel the experiences we have with our fans are much more memorable for both parties if we allow ourselves to make real connections."
