Up to $50,000 will be donated to select Youth Education Programs in Michigan and Minnesota.

MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA (August 26, 2014) – The Greg Jennings Foundation is accepting applications for the BE GREAT After School Program Grant until September 5, 2014 by 5:00pm ET.   These grants are part of The Greg Jennings Foundation's BE GREAT Youth Initiative which supports organizations that deliver high quality, learning-centered programming.

"We want the best for children and we are asking after school programs in the Greater Minneapolis and Kalamazoo areas to apply for the grant.  At The Greg Jennings Foundation, we believe that with the right opportunities and proper support all children can set and achieve their academic goals," said Minnesota Vikings Greg Jennings.  

The Greg Jennings Foundation envisions a community where all educational needs for youth are met.  Since the BE GREAT Youth Initiative's BE GREAT After School Program Grants began in 2012, over $100,000 has been donated to a number of diverse organizations including Hospitality House Youth Development, Big Brothers and Big Sisters and Communities In Schools in the Greater Kalamazoo and Minneapolis areas. The third annual BE GREAT After School Program Grant will be awarded to organizations that mentor K-12 students for academic achievement to empower youth for improved educational awareness.
