EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Saturday announced the elevations of outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy and running back DeeJay Dallas ahead of hosting the Packers to open the 2026 regular season.

Van Noy and Dallas joined Minnesota's practice squad on Sept. 2 and are poised to make their debuts in Purple on Sunday. Kickoff is 3:25 p.m. (CT) at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Van Noy, 35, is entering his 13^th NFL season. The 2014 second-round pick of Detroit has started 115 of 173 regular-season games for the Lions, Patriots, Dolphins, Chargers and Ravens. He overlapped with Vikings Defensive Coordinator Brian Flores in New England and Miami, helping the Patriots win Super Bowls LI and LIII.

Van Noy has totaled 561 tackles, including 74 for losses and 57 sacks. He has four career interceptions to add to an outside linebackers room led by Andrew Van Ginkel and Dallas Turner.

Dallas, who will turn 28 on Sept. 16, has appeared in 84 games for the Seahawks, Cardinals, Panthers and Jaguars. He has rushed 124 times for 538 yards and four scores while adding 64 catches for 407 yards and two scores, including one from new Vikings starting QB Kyler Murray in 2024. Dallas also has logged 1,303 special teams snaps during his career. The 2020 fourth-round pick by Seattle has averaged 25.3 yards on 89 kickoff returns and 9.4 yards on 39 punt returns. His biggest special teams highlight occurred on a 96-yard kickoff return TD for Arizona in 2024.
