Vikings WR Justin Jefferson Tops Michael Thomas' NFL Yardage Record

MINNEAPOLIS — Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson has another NFL record to his name.

Jefferson passed Saints receiver Michael Thomas' record for receiving yards in a player's first four seasons.

Thomas racked up 5,512 in his first four seasons with New Orleans.

Jefferson entered Sunday's Week 16 home game against the Lions needing 6.

He eclipsed the mark with an 8-yard reception the first time he was targeted. The catch occurred on Minnesota's third offensive snap of the game and was part of a touchdown drive that tied the game at 7 with 2:51 remaining in the first quarter.
